Why UPVC
What UPVC windows and doors do for your home
Cooler rooms, less noise, no rust or termites and almost no upkeep. This is what changes when you replace aluminium, wooden or old steel windows with UPVC.
Keeps the heat out
UPVC passes heat about a thousand times more slowly than aluminium, and its hollow chambers trap air like a flask. Rooms stay cooler and your AC works less.

No painting, sanding or polishing. Wipe the frames with mild soapy water and clean the tracks now and then, and they keep looking new for years.

Safer for your family
Steel-reinforced frames, multi-point locks on doors and toughened or laminated glass make forced entry far harder. Toughened glass breaks into small, blunt pieces instead of sharp shards.

Aluminium is a fine pick for very large glass walls that need the slimmest frames. For most homes, UPVC gives the best mix of comfort, upkeep and cost.
Looking after your UPVC
- Wipe, don't scrub
Clean frames with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid thinner, acetone or scouring powder.
- Clear the tracks before the monsoon
Vacuum dust out of the sliding tracks and keep the small drain holes open, so rainwater runs straight out.
- Oil the hardware once a year
A drop of light oil or silicone spray on locks, rollers and hinges keeps everything smooth and quiet.
- Check the rubber seals
If a gasket comes loose, press it back into its groove or call us. Our after-sales team is a phone call away.
What to check in any quotation
- Steel inside the frame and sash, and how thick it is
- Profile brand and series, not just the word "UPVC"
- Glass brand, thickness and type: clear, toughened, laminated or double glazed

Terms and conditionsPlease read before confirming your order
- Measurement visit charge: ₹500 to ₹1,000 depending on location. The full amount is adjusted against your final quotation when you place the order.
- Windows smaller than 9 sq. ft. are charged as 9 sq. ft., because they need the same hardware and leave more material offcuts.
- Payment: 50% advance to confirm the order, 30% on delivery, and the remaining 20% after installation and completion of the work. The warranty card and invoice are issued on paper within 24 hours of the final payment.
- If dimensions change after the site survey, the quote will change too.
- Civil work such as chipping and filling is not included.
- We are not responsible for granite breakage, wall chipping, cracks or breakage, or damage to paint or walls while fixing UPVC windows.
- The client arranges scaffolding, window support fixtures, secure storage space and electricity at the site.
- The quote is based on the designs, specifications and quantities provided. Changes to design, material, quantity, timeline or payment schedule may add cost.
- Delays caused by project schedules, payment issues or supply disruptions are the client's responsibility and may affect the timeline and cost.
- If Saint-Gobain glass is unavailable, an equivalent brand such as Modiguard or Gold Plus will be used.
- Material supplied by Everstone UPVC Windows & Doors remains our property until full payment is received and the products are handed over. Everstone may remove or reclaim supplied material from the site until then.
